Questions before you choose a cabinet

Which cabinet do I need?
It depends on what must keep running rather than on the size of your house. The 5.12 kWh Anchor covers lights, fans, fridge, router and cameras for a full evening. The 16 kWh Beacon covers AC zones, pumps and refrigeration through a summer night. The 261 kWh Citadel is for commercial and industrial loads.
Can I start small and add later?
Yes. Up to sixteen residential cabinets run in parallel without changing the inverter, so a household can begin with one and add another as the load grows.
Is the quoted capacity usable or nominal?
The headline figures are nominal energy, with depth of discharge published separately at 95 percent for the residential cabinets and 98 percent for the Citadel. Multiply the two for usable capacity, and be wary of any supplier who will not give you both numbers.
What does 6,000 cycles actually mean in years?
At roughly one full cycle a day, about sixteen years before the pack reaches 70 percent of its original capacity. It does not stop working at that point; that is simply the threshold the rating is measured to. A cycle figure quoted without its residual capacity threshold is not a specification.
Who honours the warranty?
We do. The company that assembles the pack is the company that installs your system and the company that answers the phone. Five years replacement plus three years service support, documented in plain language.
Is LiFePO4 safe inside a house?
It is the appropriate chemistry for stationary storage, with a substantially higher thermal runaway threshold than the nickel based cells used in phones and laptops. The installation matters as much as the chemistry: correct isolation, cable sizing and ventilation clearance.
Will it work with the inverter I already have?
Probably, and we will confirm before you commit rather than after. PentaVault is tested against eight named brands with the working settings documented. Send us your make, model and firmware version.
What happens to the battery in a Pakistani summer?
The residential cabinets are rated to 55 degrees. For commercial and industrial sites we specify the liquid cooled Citadel, because passive cabinets lose usable capacity as ambient temperature climbs and that loss lands exactly when demand peaks.
How much does storage add to a solar quote?
It is the largest single variable in a hybrid system, and it is what turns exported units worth PKR 11.33 into consumed units worth PKR 37 to PKR 55. The survey establishes whether that trade works on your load before we quote a capacity.
