Local context

Heat is the design constraint in Multan

Multan runs hotter than Lahore for longer. That matters more than most proposals admit, because both inverters and batteries lose usable capacity as ambient temperature rises, and a system specified for a milder climate will underperform its datasheet here.

It changes equipment selection and it changes placement. It is also the reason the Citadel cabinet is liquid cooled rather than passive: passive cooling does not hold capacity through a Multan summer.

Our Bosan Road office covers the city and the surrounding districts, and MEPCO applications are prepared and filed by the same team that designs the system.

Indicative behaviour as ambient temperature rises. Panels lose output gradually and predictably. A passively cooled battery cabinet loses usable capacity far faster, which is why the liquid cooled Citadel is specified for Multan and Sialkot sites rather than the cheaper passive alternative.

Local reference

Toyota Multan Motors, 250 kW

Our largest commercial installation in the city is a 250 kW rooftop array across the dealership and workshop roofs at Toyota Multan Motors.

It generates approximately 875 units per day and reduces the monthly electricity cost by around PKR 1.05 million. Those are metered figures rather than modelled projections, which is the standard we hold commercial proposals to.

Questions from Multan customers

Why does Multan need a different design from Lahore?
Heat. Panel output falls as cell temperature rises, and a passively cooled battery cabinet loses usable capacity far faster than the panels do. Mounting height, ventilation clearance, inverter placement and battery cooling all become real decisions here rather than defaults copied from a Lahore job.
Will my battery cope with a Multan summer?
The residential cabinets are rated to 55 degrees, and for commercial and industrial sites we specify the liquid cooled Citadel precisely because passive cabinets derate badly in this climate. Ask any supplier what happens to their quoted capacity above 45 degrees; it is a question that separates specification from marketing.
Do you have a local presence or do you travel from Lahore?
We have an office at House No 1, Paracha Enclave, Shalimar West, Bosan Road, opposite Mall of Multan. Crews and support are local, which is the part that matters in year three rather than at installation.
What is your largest project in Multan?
The 250 kW rooftop array at Toyota Multan Motors, generating roughly 875 units a day across the dealership and workshop roofs and reducing the monthly bill by around PKR 1.05 million. It is a metered result rather than a projection, and it is visitable.
How does MEPCO compare with LESCO for net billing?
The rules are identical; the local process is not. Queue length and documentation habits differ by subdivision. We file with MEPCO regularly, so the timeline we give you is based on recent filings rather than on the published guidance.
Does dust affect systems here as much as smog does in Lahore?
Different mechanism, similar consequence. Multan gets dust events rather than a months long smog season, so the cleaning schedule is event driven rather than calendar driven. Either way, an uncleaned array is losing output you have already paid for.

Heat is the design constraint in Multan, so design for it

Panel derating, inverter placement and battery cooling all matter more here than in Lahore. Our Bosan Road office and the 250 kW Toyota Multan installation are both local references.
